Bali Style Dinner With All in One Plate
Situated at the end of one of the wing (not sure which wing) of IOI City Mall, this Ole-Ole Bali restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines western and Balinese style cuisine for the customers. Personally, I love the combination they offer and enjoyed their food too, especially their lemon grass satay. Though they don't have great gravies, their taste and texture of all the dishes I tried so far were good. Here you can take your time and enjoy your moment here by ordering fine drinks. The portion that you get per order is huge to me. Thus, I would suggest to share the meal rather than eat everything our own. It is satisfying but it gets too bloaty when we finish up the whole thing.
The cover photo was the dish I ordered with rendang chicken and a mixed of rice and other small dishes. @enjiliew ordered the super combo whereby they serve almost a little bit of everything they had in the menu on a plate.
As for drinks, she ordered this hot tea with ginger and brown sugar. Turns out to be quite good with such simple combination and it helps the stomach to calm down too. As for mine, as usual, I went for the coffee whereby they served Illy Coffee. Sadly, they don't get my reminder that I do not want to have any sugar nor syrup in my coffee, yet they serve me with a sweet coffee. Anyway, I finished up everything and luckily the coffee is not that sweet for me to totally stop drinking. I knew well that Indonesians love sweet stuff and it is over my tolerance level for sweetness.
Again, my recommendation is that this is a good place to hang out as they play Lo-Fi BGM too which I also listen when I am working from home. Nice ambiance and great food!
